He is also a registered spiritual healer, skilled counsellor, and poet, and he has worked throughout Britain conducting numerous training-programmes, workshops and psychic and spiritual awareness courses, and delivering lectures to students from all parts of the world. He has written articles for Psychic News, Two Worlds and is currently a regular columnist in Psychic World magazine. Principal and Founder of the Academy, Stephen O'Brien, MASC (Advanced Psychotherapy); LWCMD; Dip C. (Inst. NH), HECCS (University of Wales); BSYA (NT), has been a medium for 33 years, but has been psychic since childhood.
He is the bestselling author of seven psychic books and six spiritual educational recordings, and his media appearances and public demonstrations of mediumship throughout the UK have been widely reported, making him a renowned figure in spiritual and psychic fields.
Lin Martin (Degree in Art; BSYA Par) is a medium and a psychic artist who has over 26 years of experience. Her spiritual work is renowned in Wales and, in more recent years, in England. She is a qualified Colour Healing Therapist (BSYA Col), and a practitioner of counselling skills (BTec Coun.). Her mediumship and accurate psychic portraits of loved ones who have passed over have both impressed and comforted hundreds of investigators seeking news and reassurance of a life after death. Lin has conducted numerous psychic training courses, self-awareness classes and development circles, and she enjoys teaching spiritual and psychic studies to students from all walks of life. Whenever she can, Lin joins us on teaching courses throughout the academic year.

In Memoriam:
We remember with fondness our dear Irish friend, colleague, medium and spiritual healer, Yvonne Casey, who passed into the Light at Christmastime 2006.
In recognition of her dedicated commitment to public service, and in acknowledgement of her healing services to the people of South Wales in particular, a memorial plaque has been placed for Yvonne at Tranquillity House.
Jeff Rees Jones (|UK Healer; DHP, BSYA [Cur. Hyp.]; PMHD [APSS]) is the Administrator of the Academy and of 'Tranquillity House' Natural Therapy Centre. He has been involved in paranormal and spiritual studies for over 30 years. He is a Hypnotherapist and Past-Life Regression Therapist, and an approved Alliance of Healing Associations Healer-trainer/co-ordinator. His interests in self-awareness and personal development, spiritual, mediumistic and psychic work are broad and varied, and he's 'pleased to teach at an establishment that endeavours to present consistently high standards of adult education to its students'. Jeff teaches on many Academy courses, and he is also one of the leaders of its weekly Meditation and Open Psychic Development Circle.
Toni Marriner (BA. Hons; PGCE) is a Reiki Healer, Spiritual Healer, an Astrologer, and is also an accomplished artist and designer. She has studied counselling skills, and finds these invaluable whenever her healing patients are distressed or they need to talk to an attentive empathic listener. Her interest in Astrology goes back nearly 40 years, and she has produced insightful charts for her clients. She is also now studying Bach Flower Remedies.
She is one of the voluntary healing team and tutors at 'Tranquillity House', and she adopts a practical attitude towards her healing abilities. 'Healing for me is about helping our friends here on Earth to take better care of themselves,' she affirms, 'and also to help them appreciate their inner strengths more, as well as their positive - but sometimes unacknowledged - personal qualities.'
Moya O’Dwyer (BSc [Bachelor of Social Science]; UK Healer, PMHD, APSS) hails from Ireland and has worked professionally in Residential Care, and as a Tarot-Reader in Eire, the UK and in the United States of America.
She has a deep interest spirituality and its development and has studied various spiritual disciplines, including Buddhism.
Her encouraging advice to students is, ‘When we wish to give compassionate service to others, the gifts of the spirit can be expressed through anyone.’

Marion Jones [UK Healer; PMHD (APSS)] has been healing for over 30 years through the laying-on-of-hands, but mostly through prayer and absent or distant (thought) healing methods. She began her quest into spiritual matters in the 1970s and 'I am still building up my fund of knowledge and experience, for no one is ever fully developed,' she cautions.
