Teachings from the published works of Britain’s bestselling spiritual author, Stephen O’Brien
Heaven and Hell are not places, they are psychological states of mind. They are not locations, they are mental states of being.
One can live in ‘hell’ on the earth, and just as easily one can exist in a state of ‘heaven’.
And there is no ‘Judgement Day’.
‘Judgement’ occurs naturally at death. Within everyone there’s a Divine Monitor called the Conscience. This inner voice assesses all our acts, and it records each fragment of our lives and
our thinking. These memories are responsible for the rewards or punishments we shall inflict on ourselves.
After ‘death’ has occurred, we shall eventually review our lives, and pass judgement on ourselves - for in that Other World we shall be more sensitively aware of what we have thought, said and done, and of the consequences of our actions upon the lives of others, and also upon ourselves.
